It's that time of the year again where our talented students will once again showcase their amazing talents at our annual concert. We will have our music and dance students performing together with our teachers for this concert.

Personal Make Up Course

Course syllabus:
1.Make up brushes/cosmetics
2. Perfecting foundation
3. Perfecting brows: eyebrow shaping/tweezing
4. Corrective make up
5. Eye/Lip/Cheek make up Application

The classes are once a week, 1.5hours per class. Make up tools will be provided unless your teacher specifically asks you to bring something.

Course fee is RM400, registration fee is RM50 (non refundable)

Intensive Grooming Course

There will be an intensive workshop next month covering grooming for the corporate world. If you are a diploma/degree holder, already working or looking for a job and need that perk in your presentation, THIS IS THE WORKSHOP for you. We will cover the basics that you need to know and the fee is only RM100 per person (usually RM250 per person). This is the special rate for registrations before end of April and for group registrations of 3 people and above. After that the the fee goes up to RM150 per person. Morning tea and lunch will be provided. Please inbox me for more details as seats are limited. This is an opportunity not to be missed!

School holidays specials!

Nov 21, 2009 - Frame decorating for kids! They will be decorating their own frames . All materials provided. Cost of the workshop will be Rm35 inclusive of a bonus project! Time : 2pm-3.15pm. Bring a friend!

NOv 28, 2008 - we will be conducting a christmas card making class for kids from 2pm to 3pm. Your kids will be making 1 card plus a bonus project. The cost for the workshop is RM20. If you would like to register your child, please call us at 016-4993615 (Karen) Bring a friend!
For Nov projects please reserve a place by Nov 18 2009.

Dec 5th 8pm - 9.30pm - Christmas production at Centre stage New World Park. This event is free of charge. Bring your friends and enjoy the atmosphere of christmas with us. We'll have live band, mime, kids performance and singing carols.

Dec 6th 11am-1pm _ you can walk in anytime to new world park and join our cupcake decorating workshop for kids as well as making pegs (bumblebee, butterfly,ladybug). This workshop is free of charge. So come early while stocks last. Bring your friends.

The Centre is also proud to announce that we have recently started our party business. We strictly do not cover weddings. We will organise birthday parties, hens nights, baby showers, etc.We have many packages for you to choose from. Some of our specialties you can choose for your party are:

Cup cakes ready made or you can decorate it yourself

Face painting
Photographer with instant printed photos to make your party a more memorable one

Band

Wow...it's September already! So soon...we've had an eventful August and Sept is a new month. How exciting! We are already 3 months old and we have lots of exciting specials in store for you.

1. If you sign up in sept,you will receive 50% off your registration fees (for dance and music students only)

2. There will be a new HIP HOP class on Saturdays at 1.30pm-2.30pm starting Mid-Sept. This class is NOT for beginners but for guys and girls who already know the basics. This class is a step up from BEGINNERS.

3. Music classes are running well. We offer Keyboard, vocals, drums, guitar and bass classes.Also keyboard, drums and guitar classes for KIDS!

"Hi, I'm Jessy Christopher, a preschool teacher, photographer & owns a personalized craft biz called D-Memory Keeper here in Malaysia. Mixed parentage of Indonesian, Chinese and Dutch. I've been married to my sweetheart, Eric for almost 4 years now & and we are proud owners of 2 fur-kids (cats). We do not have children at the moment, hopefully very soon!
My precious students, friends and family members (inculding my fur-kids) are my favourite subject. I started on scrapbooking nearing to 3 years now & have been occupied since then. I enjoyed all sorts of scrapbooking i.e. digital, paper, hybrid & altered projects.
I had been featured on our local newspaper, The Star about digital-scrapbooking in April 2009 and also in numerous blogs for my work. My layout is published in US magazines in August & October 2009. I co-owned a challenge blog called Scrap-It-Lah & also a creative advisor for a forum at Singapore called Scrappin Kids. Currently a Resident Designer & instructor for a local scrapbooking store called Papier Love and a card designer for a Canadian online store called Let's Capture Our Memories.
What I love the most about scrapbooking is the freedom to express myself. There's no boundaries, I can do whatever I want on my layout/project. Scrapbooking has become quite a passion and when I have any free time, it's the first thing to do in my list!

This month of August we are featuring our cool music teacher, Daniel Goh. At his age, most youth would still be partying away but Daniel has a bigger vision than this. He has such a passion for music that it will soon be his full time passion (let's not call it JOB, haha) Being quite a talented young lad, he plays the drums and guitar and sings very well. Daniel is our feature teacher for SOULTUNES. He is also talented in drama and dance (making people laugh)

At The Centre, Daniel will be teaching Guitar and Drums for beginners. He is a patient teacher and can connect with young and old alike. His students are increasing as he is really easy going and fun to learn from. Daniel is also a songwriter and has also written music for our christmas production as well as songs for his own collection and for people to sing to.

So if you are umming and erring whether you should learn guitar or drums, give us a buzz and drop by to talk to Dan the man.

The Centre will be conducting a FREE English camp on Sunday, 12th July 2009 for Primary and Secondary school students. There will be many fun activities such as games, quizzes, role plays as well as showing students a different approach to English. For those who are in Primary school the session will be at 9.30am-12.30pm. For Secondary school students, the session will be at 2pm-5pm.The venue for the camp will be at The Centre, 11A-3-1,2 & 3 NB Place, Gottlieb Road. It was a pretty tiring day for the teachers but we had so much fun! About 10 kids turned up for our free trial despite the school holidays and their ages ranged from 2and half to 7 yrs of age. The kids loved the craft they made which was a little koala magnetic bookmark with Doreen. Had a blast of a time with dance & movement with Kerry and drama with me.....ALL IN 2 HOURS! so here are some of the pictures...

You may be thinking "What will the centre be like?" well, all we can say is, it is fully air conditioned, comfortable atmosphere, relaxing, small classes (no more than 15 people per class), warm lights, soothing music (yes, for maths enthusiasts) funky designs, nice comfy seats for parents to wait for their kids, etc etc etc....
We have made a concious decision to make this place a safe haven for little ones, students and adults so that one will not feel intimidated but rather confortable at the centre. Where there is a good atmosphere, a person can concentrate more and not fall asleep!
